Dance Instructor
Betty Moler (she/her) has trained in depth in ballet, modern, and choreography. She attended that ABT William J. Gillespie school in high school, and then graduated in 2023 from Texas Christian University with a BFA in Modern dance. When teaching she aims to create a space for students to experiment with movement and the sensations that come with it, while growing in skill.
Betty’s Classes
Adult Intro to Ballet
Perfect for first time dancers or those looking to get back into ballet. No experience required! Learn the classical ballet positions, and go through some terminology as well as the steps that go with it. We will also be incorporating some conditioning and strengthening of the muscles most often used in ballet.
Beginner/Intermediate Ballet
An inclusive space for developing musicality, range of motion, and coordination. Wear comfortable clothing for movement- leotards and tights are recommended but not required. This class is open to and ideal for adults and teens who have some prior dance experience. If you are brand new to ballet, we recommend checking out the Intro Level Ballet class on Thursday evenings first!
Beginner Contemporary Dance
A beginner level contemporary dance class based around exploration of energy and flow of movement. Focus on floorwork, strength, improvisation, and a culminating combination. This class is ideal for and open to adults and teens whether or not you have previous experience.
Intermediate/Advanced Contemporary Ballet
Betty’s contemporary ballet class combines intermediate ballet technique with the freedom of contemporary movement qualities. This intermediate/advanced level class is open to and ideal for adults and teens with prior dance experience.
Intermediate/Advanced Contemporary Dance
Focus on floorwork, strength, improvisation, and a culminating combination. This class is ideal for and open to adults and teens who have previous experience.
