Hearts & Stars Dance Company is a year-round performance program for the dedicated dancer. Established at Heartbeat House in 2024, this program offers community performance opportunities to dancers 8-18 years old.
Members of the Hearts & Stars Dance Company are required to take at least two weekly technique classes at Heartbeat House in the genres of their choice. Additionally, company members are expected to attend weekly company choreography rehearsals on Fridays. These weekly technique classes and company rehearsals are all included in the Hearts & Stars tuition, which can be paid either monthly or annually.
Performance opportunities will arise year-round, and auditions to join the company take place every August. Joining the Hearts & Stars Dance Company encourages a deeper commitment to dance training, and allows young dancers to connect with their community here in the Atwater Village neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.
