Kids Dance Classes
Beginner Lyrical (ages 8-12)
Lyrical combines the technique of ballet, jazz and modern dance styles with the musicality of contemporary dance. In this class, dancers will learn how to expand their movement vocabulary and express emotion through movement. Please come prepared for class with clothing that is comfortable for movement. Ballet or Jazz shoes are recommended. We do not sell or rent dance shoes at our studio. Register here.
Intermediate/Advanced Lyrical (ages 10+)
Lyrical combines the technique of ballet, jazz and modern dance styles with the musicality of contemporary dance. Jazz Leaps & Turns (ages 4-7)
A high energy class based in jazz technique, open to beginners and young dancers ages 4-7 yrs! Learn exciting new skills in a fun and inclusive environment, dance to your favorite music, and learn to take care of your body with stretching & strengthening. Please come prepared for class with jazz or ballet shoes. We do not sell or rent dance shoes at our studio. Register here.
Jazz Leaps & Turns (ages 8-12)
A high energy class based in jazz technique, ideal for intermediate level dancers ages 8-12 yrs. Learn exciting new skills in a fun and inclusive environment, dance to your favorite music, and learn to take care of your body with stretching & strengthening. Beginner Tap (4-7)
Young dancers are welcome to join this intro level tap dance technique class! Learn to coordinate movements, stretch, strengthen, and dance to the music together. Tap shoes are required for tap class! We do not currently sell or rent tap shoes at our studio. Register here.
Intermediate/Advanced Tap (ages 8-12)
Explore exciting new rhythms with this beginner/intermediate tap class, recommended for ages 8-15 yrs. Build on basic technique, and learn choreographic tap combinations. Tap shoes are required for tap class! We do not currently sell or rent tap shoes at our studio. Register here.
Beginner Hip Hop (ages 6-10)
This beginner Hip Hop class provides a fun, beginner-friendly atmosphere that encourages students to dive into the rhythm and find confidence through dance! Work on musicality and coordinated movement, learn choreographic phrases, and express yourself through social dancing! Please come prepared for class with comfortable clothing for movement and sneakers. Register here.
Intermediate/Advanced Hip Hop (ages 10+)
Brooke’s intermediate/advanced level Hip Hop class encourages students to dive into the rhythm and find confidence through dance! Learn how to isolate, coordinate, and integrate various hip hop and street dance styles into your movement vocabulary while learning choreographic phrases. Please come prepared for class with comfortable clothing for movement and sneakers. Register here.
Ballet (ages 8-12)
This class recommended for beginner/intermediate dancers 8-12 yrs. You will be encouraged to explore beyond the basics of Ballet, develop a deeper connection to the movement through musicality, and expand your understanding of Ballet technique. Please come prepared for class with ballet shoes. We do not sell or rent shoes at our studio. Register here.
Acrobatics (ages 8-12)
Acrobatics at Heartbeat House is a journey through the safety and strength of the body. Students will review the fundamentals of Acrobatics to support their endeavors in all other styles, while mastering new skills and growing more confident in their movement! Please wear comfortable clothing for movement. We recommend clothing that is comfortable for inverting/handstands (no skirts please, dance shorts or pants). Register here.

Hearts & Stars
Hearts & Stars Dance Company is a year-round performance program for the dedicated dancer.
Established at Heartbeat House in 2024, this program offers community performance opportunities to dancers 8-18 years old.
